Stumblin' Elvis Memphis Flying Saucer

Elvis was in the building in Memphis

Do you know anyone who’s had an Elvis sighting? Have YOU ever seen Elvis? What about more than 60 Elvises in one place at one time?

That was the case August 15th at the Downtown Memphis Flying Saucer during the 6th Annual Stumblin’ Elvis Pub Crawl. Some of the world’s most dedicated beer lovers (who also enjoy celebrating the King), gathered for a great cause and great beer. Together, they helped raise more than $350 and collect more than 50-pounds of nonperishable food for the FedEx Family House in Memphis.

Everything started at Flying Saucer before heading to the Tin Roof, Hard Rock Cafe, Blind Bear and ending back at the Saucer. The pub crawl has been a traditional part of Elvis Week in Memphis, which commemorates the death of the King of Rock and Roll each August.

This is definitely an event you want to check out and make travel arrangements to attend. Just imagine you and your closest friends in big sunglasses, leisure suits, and mutton chop sideburns winding through downtown Memphis enjoying delicious beer. Follow Downtown Memphis Flying Saucer on Facebook to keep updated on next year’s event and flip through the photos below to see what you missed this year.
