In case you weren’t aware (or just happened to forget), the Great American Beer Festival is quickly approaching, and with it come some of the most awesome beer events around. One of the best is the Denver Rare Beer Tasting VII, benefiting Pints for Prostates.
Founded in 2008, Pints for Prostates raises awareness among men about the importance of regular health screenings and early detection of prostate cancer. The proceeds from the Denver Rare Beer Tasting event go toward increasing awareness for Pints for Prostates and to help fund the education and support programs of the Us TOO International Prostate Cancer Education and Support Network.
The Denver Rare Beer Tasting gives attendees the opportunity to sample rare and exotic beers from 50 of the top breweries across the United States. Be prepared to sample world-class beers from breweries such as Avery Brewing, Casey Brewing & Blending, Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales, Wicked Weed Brewing and more!
In addition to all the exceptional beer (and conversations with the people who brew it), there’s also a silent auction full of tremendous prizes. Plus, all ticket holders are entered into a drawing for a chance to win a nine-night BeerTrips.com–organized tour for two to Europe.
The Great American Beer Festival boasts several can’t-miss events, and the Denver Rare Beer Tasting VII is definitely among them. Rick Lyke, founder of Pints for Prostates, sums it up best:

The Denver Rare Beer Tasting VII event takes place on September 25 at the McNichols Civic Center Building in Denver. VIP tickets are $150, and general admission tickets are $110. Each attendee receives a commemorative tasting glass, t-shirt, program and pen.
