From the original in Fort Worth’s Sundance Square to the other fifteen locations reaching to the Carolinas, Flying Saucer has grown in size and importance over the last twenty years. It is where Beerknurds gather to further their education in the art of craft beer. They can explore and investigate beer in all of its forms. At the very least, they can raise a glass or two with good friends and enjoy their company.

What started as a shared idea between Shannon Wynne and Keith Schlabs (Captain Keith) to create a killer beer bar in Fort Worth, TX, has turned into a fleet of Saucers that promote good beer and everything it represents. That’s what initially grabs the Beerknurds, what keeps them coming back and why Flying Saucer wants to celebrate with their loyal customers.

Twenty years of evangelizing the virtues of craft beer is an amazing milestone, and Flying Saucer wants all Beerknurds to gather and lift a pint for a unified toast from the Sugar Land Saucer all the way to Raleigh. There will be a countdown in Cowtown to build the excitement. Some Saucers are even going retro with $2 Fire Sales, and each location will have their own special offerings and rare releases.

So, make your plans to join and start thinking about what you want to be drinking when the countdown reaches zero. (Captain Keith might suggest the classic Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.) You’re not going to want to miss this very special occasion.

And just because Flying Saucer really wants to include everyone, you can check out the Live Stream from Fort Worth and toast from any remote location you may find yourself.

For more information, contact your local Flying Saucer or check them out on Facebook.
